Big T. –Tea For Two

Big T. –Tea For Two/I Know A Place –Avalanche AV 67324 (1973 UK)

From the deranged mind of Ed Welch, comes this classic and so far undocumented Junkshop Glam stormer from Big T. Yes, as ridiculous as it sounds, this it is the showtune you think it is, but god...it pulls out ALL the Junkshop weapons from the Glitter arsenal: Loud Fuzz, handclaps, HEYs, gangshow vocals...So all in all it’s a great unpretentious Stompfest which will delight and amuse in equal measure

Is it not possible to download these tracks anymore? When I click on the divshare link I've recently been directed to the divshare homepage with no sign of the download in question.

mmmm...Not sure about this. It has been mentioned. To be honest I think I'd rather people just stream this stuff in any case

It's frustrating not being able to download stuff, as we could until fairly recently, that is clearly not available commercially, this track being a classic case. This is one of the best 'junkshop glam' songs I've heard in ages - I thought most of the good stuff must have been mopped up by now - and would love to be able to stick it on my ipod. It's not meant as a criticism, I love your site and have discovered many, many great tunes courtesy of it. Keep up the great work.....Seannie.

I absolutely agree with anonymous. I have an Ipod but unless I strike lucky most music I discover from years ago just isn't available. Even stuff from major labels ie 'While I'm Still Young' by The Autographs!
Like anon,I'm perfectly willing to buy the music but just cannot do so!

And don't get me started on the fact I can't find an easy (ie easy for a 48yo technophobe!)way to find and download The Uncool Danceband's output. They were on Polydor for gawd's sake!!!!

This blog & Proudfoot are two of my favorites but both just became very frustrating because of Div Share's new policies. Even signing up for an account doesn't get one access to the files.

Maybe paying for account would work, and I would do that but there's supposedly X number of GB/month to download free and I've seen no sign that that's working, so I hesitate to give them any money.

Would you consider possibly doing periodic .zip or .rar files of the week's or month's uploads? The music is fantastic & it's very frustrating to hear songs we can't buy anywhere and also can't download.

Thanks for the work on this great blog!

Perhaps a solution would be for me to make available something every 3 months on a CDR. As long as it doesn't get out of hand...

Robin,If you were to do that, you would become even more of a God in my eyes lol.
