Return from Utrecht…

I had another amazing time at the best record fair in the world. 3 days of walking around, searching , finding, exchanging, meeting, eating chips "met" etc…and generally hanging around with that far away 100 yard stare. Picked up quite a big haul including the following:

I thought I had heard that Tiger B Smith track before on that wonderful glam compilation but I had no idea there was an original version of (the other Damned)'Morning Bird' to be had at all...though according to Discogs the single you ripped the track from came out in France 1977 and I had thought the Dutch Damned single had come out before then..though maybe not....

...the weird thing is while the b-side single track 'Anna Sheffield' features on their 1974 album 'We’re The Tiger Bunch' the 'Morning Bird' track is nowhere to be seen..curious

anyway, I found a decent rip of the aforementioned Tiger B Smith album from 1974 which someone may be interested in (courtesy of the now defunct Orexis Of Death blog)...

You were in The Barracudas?!? How freakin' cool, THAT song reminds me of so much of growing up in the late seventies England, it's permanently hardwired into my memory circuit!
