Utrecht Record Fair -Day 1

Ooops. Looks like I went a bit over the top today...11 Grand Funk Singles-was this wise?

I am not going to list each single, but a picture tells a 1000 words -no?

2 special notes: There is a gem of an Italian single in the pictures below. Any of our Italian friends able to provide some information on this before I review it?

And a really special item at the end that I have been seeking for over 30 years!

And here it is..the fan club 10" from The Quick signed by the whole band...200 copies. Nuff Said

Total mystery time. This is MOONQUAKE, not Earthquake...hard cardboard sleeve Canadian issue. What happened?-how late in the day was it before they found out there was a band in SF called Earthquake?

Nice finds! Ning's machine brings back fond memories. Around 1970 when that 45 came out I requested that Radio station B3 in Munich (Bayern3) play that song (they did) because I liked it so much, still do..I still have 2 copies (US promo and stock)in my collection ;-) yes, nothing wrong with Grand Funk. They are at least partly responsible for me being half deaf now (saw them with Mott the Hoople opening in 1971..wow that was really loud!)

I've just gotten back from Holland this afternoon. I only attended the Saturday but that was enough for me to burn a sizable hole in my wallet. I'm gonna have to go again someday ..

Do you mean Cardinal Point? That's the only Italian single I can see there... really great haul. I live in Holland but never seem to find the time to go to the record fair.
