Flamin' Groovies -Slow Death German Pic sleeve 72
A nice one this, I didn't know it existed. Probably my favourite 70's 45 of all time. Picked up on ebay March '06
yes, this is one gem of a song ! Everything falls in place perfectly from the intro to the fabulous bridge. "Slow Death" for many Europeans was the introducing point to the Groovies and to the purity of genuine rock. It was for me anyway and I remember you saying it sort of triggered your involvement in being playing in a rock band. C'est aussi pour ca que de te voir jouer avec Roy il ya 2 ans a Paris etait presque un symbole de l'importance des groovies dans le rock. Desole d'etre pedant ...
